The TIMEMORE Black Mirror Dot is a pocket-sized Bluetooth coffee weighing platform made by TIMEMORE. It has no screen of its own: it pairs over Bluetooth 5.2 with the TIMEMORE app on your phone, which shows weight, time and live flow rate as you pour. The disc is 80mm across and 14mm thick, weighs 50g (77g with its silicone mat), reads to 0.1g between 0.2g and 1,200g, is rated IPX3 and comes in six colours with a travel case.

Your phone is the display

Dot leaves out the screen and the buttons a conventional scale needs. A single button under the base powers it on and starts Bluetooth pairing, and a sealed USB-C port sits next to it for charging. Everything you read while brewing — weight, elapsed time and a drawn flow-rate curve of your pour, pauses included — appears in the TIMEMORE app on iOS or Android.

Dot has dual timing modes: Pour-Over and Espresso. Pick the mode in the TIMEMORE app before you brew, and the app tracks weight, time and flow rate for that method. Two ways to time, one seamless workflow.

Live flow rate, brew history and recipes in the app

In the TIMEMORE app, Dot gives you seamless sync, live flow rate, brew history, save and share, pro recipes and a coffee coach. You can watch a brew take shape in real time, keep a history of past brews and build your own recipes. The app is a requirement for reading the scale, since the platform itself has no display.

At 80 × 80 × 14mm and 50g (77g with the silicone mat), Dot is small enough to slip into a bag or pocket. The box includes a custom travel case in black or white along with the silicone mat and a USB-C cable. The body is PC and ABS with silicone, and the IPX3 rating covers sprays and splashes rather than immersion.
