The MAVO Pour Over Coffee Set is a complete manual brewing kit in one gift box, made by MAVO. Every step of a pour-over has its tool in the box: grind fresh with the Wizard, check the water temperature with the thermometer, dose with the measuring spoon, pour slowly with the gooseneck kettle through the Black Wing dripper into the glass sharing pot, and serve in the two tasting cups. The pieces are designed as one family, so the set looks consistent on the counter. You heat the water separately — the Deep Flow Pro is a pouring kettle, not an electric one.

Wizard hand grinder

The grinder is MAVO's Wizard 2.0 with a pentagon conical burr in 420 stainless steel, machined on a 5-axis CNC for an even grind with little fine powder (manufacturer-rated). A double-bearing axis keeps the burr centred and the body is aluminium. MAVO's Wizard 2.0 page lists 24 clicks per rotation at 0.04mm per click and a weight of 440g; MAVO recommends it for pour over, cold brew, French press and moka pot.

Deep Flow Pro gooseneck kettle

The 600ml (20.29oz) Deep Flow Pro has a slim gooseneck with a 53.5° spout angle, which MAVO says keeps the stream close to vertical across slow and fast pours — the control that pour-over depends on. A wide S-shaped handle stays comfortable while you tilt it, and the kettle weighs about 0.89lb (manufacturer-rated).

Black Wing ceramic dripper and glass sharing pot

The Black Wing is a ceramic cone dripper with ribbed inner walls that let air escape and the brew drain evenly. It takes both 01 and 02 size cone filters, so one dripper covers a single cup or a larger brew, and it comes with its own ceramic drip tray. It sits on a 450ml (15.21oz) heat-resistant glass sharing pot, so you can watch the flow and colour of the coffee as it brews.

What is the MAVO Pour Over Coffee Set?

The MAVO Pour Over Coffee Set is a complete manual pour-over kit sold in one gift box by MAVO. Is the Deep Flow Pro kettle electric?

No. The Deep Flow Pro is a manual gooseneck pouring kettle: you boil water in your usual kettle, pour it in, check the temperature with the included thermometer, then use the gooseneck for a slow, controlled pour. MAVO does not publish a hob or induction rating for it, so do not put it on a heat source.

Can the Wizard grinder grind for espresso?

It is not sold as an espresso grinder. MAVO recommends the Wizard 2.0 in this set for pour over, cold brew, French press and moka pot, and its 0.04mm-per-click adjustment is geared to those brews. If you mainly drink espresso, you will want a grinder built for espresso alongside it.

How much coffee can I make at once?

One or two cups. The Wizard grinder holds about 25g of beans per grind (MAVO's Amazon listing), the kettle holds 600ml and the glass sharing pot 450ml. At a common 1:16 ratio, 25g of coffee makes about 400ml — enough for the two tasting cups. For bigger batches you would grind twice.

Does the set include a coffee scale?

No. The set includes a measuring spoon for dosing beans and a thermometer for water temperature, but no scale. You can brew by spoon and by eye; if you want to weigh your dose and water precisely, add a coffee scale.

What filters does the Black Wing dripper use?

Cone filters in size 01 or 02 — V60-style papers fit. The set comes with MAVO V01 filter papers; when they run out, any 01 or 02 cone paper will do, and MAVO sells V01 refills in boxes of 100.

Is the dripper ceramic or plastic?

Ceramic. The Black Wing dripper and its drip tray are ceramic, the sharing pot and tasting cups are glass, and the grinder body is aluminium. Ceramic and glass hold heat well and do not taint flavour, but they can chip or break if dropped, so handle them with care.

What is the difference between the Black and White sets?

Only the colour. The Black set has a black grinder, a black kettle with a bronze-tone lid and a black dripper; the White set has a silver grinder, a white kettle and a white dripper. The contents, sizes and glassware are the same in both.

How big is the gift box?

MAVO lists the gift box at 18.89 × 11.61 × 4.72 inches (48 × 29.5 × 12cm) and 9.61lb (4.36kg) with everything inside. It opens like a drawer, with a fitted foam tray that holds each piece in place, and comes with a paper gift bag.
