The TIMEMORE Impulse Impact Tamper is a spring-action espresso tamper for 58.4mm baskets, made by TIMEMORE. Dual internal springs deliver the tamp and then reset the tool, a fixed collar keeps the base flat and centred, and a chamfered anti-vacuum lip lets it release without disturbing the puck. It comes in black or white, with a flat or a ripple base, and weighs about 640g.

Spring action with automatic reset

Inside the body, two springs drive a spring-loaded impact mechanism that delivers a stable, concentrated tamping force and then snaps back to its starting position, ready for the next puck. It is built to repeat the same stroke every time rather than depend on how hard you lean.

Self-leveling collar

A broad 69mm support surface and a fixed collar sit the tamper flat on the basket rim and keep it centred, so the base meets the coffee bed squarely. The gap between the tamper and the body is held to under 0.05mm, which gives it a stable, wobble-free feel.

Anti-vacuum base: flat or ripple

The 58.4mm base has a chamfered lip so the tamper releases cleanly without pulling the surface of the puck up. Choose between a flat base and a ripple base with concentric ridges. Both are 58.4mm, the only diameter currently offered.

All-metal construction

An ergonomically contoured, anodised aluminium grip sits on a precision-milled stainless steel body. The materials are stainless steel and aluminium alloy, and the tamper is rated for more than 60,000 tamps.

Four versions

Choose Black or White, each with a flat base or a ripple base: Black Flat, White Flat, Black Ripple and White Ripple. Each is a separate variant with its own barcode.
