Features

The TIMEMORE Black Mirror DUO is a Bluetooth-free coffee scale made by TIMEMORE, the third generation of the Black Mirror line, which has been refined since 2017. It is built around an industry-first dual arm load cell and an adjustable swivel dripper mount that holds the dripper above the carafe on the scale. Its display shows brew time, flow rate and two weights. It comes in one finish, black.

Dual arm load cells

The DUO has a dual arm load cell for better accuracy, stability and response speed. It reads to 0.1g: the scale platform weighs from 0.2g to 2000g, and the dripper stand from 0.2g to 1000g.

A swivel dripper mount that raises, lowers and swings away

The dripper sits in a ring on an adjustable arm, so you can pour into it while the carafe stands on the scale. Swivel the arm to cut off the brew, and raise or lower it to suit different drippers and carafes. The ring carries non-slip silicone to keep the dripper in place.

Total brew weight and drawdown on one display

The display has dual readouts: the total weight of the brew and the weight of the completed drawdown. Alongside them it shows the elapsed time and the real-time flow rate in g/s, so you can see whether your pour is steady while it happens.

A droplet-pattern mat that keeps heat off the scale

A droplet-pattern mat sits under the carafe. Its texture directs water outward, and it also insulates the scale from the heat of the server.

No Bluetooth, no app, USB-C charging

The third-generation DUO is Bluetooth-free. Everything you need while brewing is on the scale's own display, with no phone or pairing involved. A 1600mAh lithium battery powers it, and it charges over USB-C.

Recommended by a barista champion

The Black Mirror DUO is highly recommended by Van Lin, the first champion of the Taiwan National Barista Competition.

'BLACK MIRROR DUO — Measure twice, brew once.' A black pour-over dripper in a stand rising from the dual-load-cell scale with a textured droplet-pattern mat

'With DUO, precision becomes play.' — master your flow, adjust ratios on the fly and unlock new ways to brew with one sleek, versatile tool

DUO's four headline features: All-New Weighing Sensor (dual arm load cell for better precision and response), Adjustable Dripper Mount (swivel to cut off your brew, raise or lower to fit drippers and carafes), Dual-Readout Display (total brew weight and completed drawdown at once) and Real-Time Flow Rate

The DUO display glowing blue in the dark showing time 00:52, flow rate 5.3, brew weight 32.6 and 78.5 for total water, labelled Flow Rate, Total Water in Brew Session and Completed Drawdown; 'Coffee Alchemy? Meet Coffee Science.'

'Input + Output = Insight' — two carafes on DUO scales compare Total Water in Brew Session (dripper plus platform weight) with Completed Drawdown (platform weight only), giving the ratio of what ends up in your cup

'Weigh better' — an exposed view of DUO's industry-first dual arm load cell structure under the scale, improving accuracy, stability and response time

'Have the last word on the last drop' — DUO's swiveling dripper ring cuts off the flow in a flick of the wrist; callouts for the non-slip silicone on the dripper ring and the droplet-inspired mat that directs water outward while insulating the scale from high temperatures
